Community/Campaign Booths at 2023 Red, White & Blues Festival

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the City of Federal Way will again be providing the Community Service area in Celebration Park for non-profit organizations and political campaigns at this year’s July 4th Red, White & Blues Festival.

Each community partner or campaign is asked to supply their own canopy, table, chairs and other accessories as appropriate. Space is limited to 10’ X 10’ so please keep the size of the canopy and other accessories to a minimum so that all occupants can be accommodated. Event set-up takes place between 1:00 and 3:00 PM on Tuesday, July 4th.
Curb-side load and unload parking will be permitted in the Main Lot at Celebration Park. Vehicles are not permitted on the event grounds, so please plan to carry your effects for a short walk to get to your assigned space. Carts will be provided if extra assistance is needed. Please indicate below if you will need event staff assistance. After set-up, we allow one car per applicant to stay in the main parking lot. General event parking begins at 3:00 PM for those that decide to exit the venue and come back later.

Community booth space is available at NO CHARGE for this event. In lieu of a fee, we ask that participants bring family-friendly giveaways to be enjoyed by the many guests that will stop by your booth, and also help promote your organization or campaign. ALSO, as a courtesy, we ask our Community Booth occupants to wait until the Fireworks Show is over before breaking down your booths.

By reserving a space for the Community Service area, my organization/I agree to release indemnify, defend, and hold the City, its elected officials, officers, employees, agents, representatives, insurers, attorneys, and volunteers harmless from any and all claims, demands, actions, suits, causes of action, arbitrations, mediations, proceedings, judgments, awards, injuries, damages, liabilities, taxes, losses, fines, fees, penalties expenses, attorney’s fees, costs, and/or litigation expenses to or by any and all persons or entities, including, without limitation, their respective agents, licensees, or representatives, arising from, resulting from my/my organization’s use of the area, except for that portion of the claims caused by the City’s sole negligence. The City’s inspection of my booth/table shall not be grounds to avoid any of these covenants of indemnification.

2024 RWB Form will be available soon.
