Group Training Class Descriptions

FITNESS FOR LIFE — The one stop workout where you will find yourself immediately locked into this fun and effective workout that make life easier! It combines 50 minutes of easy, yet effective circuits interlaced with weights, and resistance work – using various training tools. It’s a combination that drives up your endurance and gets your body moving, stronger and ripped. It’s a great compliment to any cardio or yoga based classes/workouts. Adaptable to most fitness levels, for Teens & Adults. Participants can start anytime as this an on-going program.
FUNCTIONAL CIRCUIT — This class involves functional movement to get your heart rate up and get your fat percentage down. We will focus on movement patterns that will make every day living even easier. The goal is to create a fully functional body and improve performance outside of the gym.
YOGA PREP — Feeling like you’re ready for more than Chair Yoga but not quite ready for a full blown Yoga class? Attend this small group class to learn
safe modifications and perfect your form
GREAT GLUTES — It’s leg day! Regular attendance of this class will help you firm and tone your lower body. By combining a healthy diet and this class, you can also expect fat loss. We will use free weights and body weight exercises to target your hips and thighs. This is a class for everyone!
YOUTH WEIGHTLIFTING 101 —Are you a teen between the ages of 12–14 years old that wants to
access all of the upstairs Fitness Facility? Attend this orientation and receive a red card that allows usage of the upstairs fitness area.
Are you a teen between the ages of 12–17 years old that wants to learn more about lifting weight and lifting it properly? Our trainer will
take you through a great strength training workout that will help you to build the foundations of proper weight training.

ABS!—Just in time for summer! Work on toning and defining your abdominal muscles with a mixture of techniques. Using a wide variety of equipment, we will target your mid-section to burn fat and strengthen your core muscle groups. This is a session for anyone looking to get that summer body or just wanting to lose some tummy weight.
FEEL THE BURN!—No specific muscle group targeting, we’re working everything. Your arms, legs and lungs will feel like they’re on fire in this circuit. We’ll mix it up, jump around and keep the heart rate up for the whole class. Expect to see improvements in speed, power, agility and endurance while shedding pounds and burning calories. Bring plenty of water and lots of determination.
GO FOR GROWTH!—Stuck in a rut? Hit a plateau? Let’s shock your muscles into having to adapt and grow! We’ll target all the major muscle groups in your upper body with a regiment designed for enlarging muscles on a cellular level. Super-sets, drop-sets, hypertrophy, one rep maxes will all be incorporated. We’ll guide you through all the exercises and help you with the proper technique needed to lift heavy and get results. As they say, “go big or go home!”
TRX—The TRX is a revolutionary system which utilized your body weight against gravity. When used properly, this suspension system can give you a full body workout unlike any other. Used by beginners, pro athletes and military personnel, this incredibly versatile piece of equipment can be set up virtually anywhere. Come learn the techniques and functions of TRX while getting a full body workout.
Kickboxing—This high energy, dynamic kickboxing class incorporates kickboxing technique & drills with a cardio workout! This is a non-sparing class—it is strictly for fitness purposes, some partner drills will be involved along with bag work.
