SEASONAL DAY CAMPS
The Federal Way Community Center offers many exciting and fun day camp programs to make your child smile! Let your child explore new adventures, create new friendships, swim, rock climb, and so much more. All camps are on a first come, first serve basis and require registration. Our Day Camps follow the FWPS Calendar.
K – 8TH SUMMER CAMP 2026
Summer Camp is for grades K – 8th. Every day of summer camp gives youth the opportunity to make friends and challenge themselves through new experiences! Summer Camp registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

TEEN LEADERS-IN-TRAINING CAMP
The DCIT (Day Camp Leaders-in-Training) program is a leadership program for teens ages 13-15. DCITs spend each week working on specific training to gain leadership and problem-solving skills while with working day camp leaders in the full day (K -8th) Summer Camp Program.
FIREFLIES CAMP IS FULL FOR 2026.
FIREFLIES PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP
Fireflies Preschool Camp offers a fun-filled summer where kids ages 3 – 5 develop essential skills, fostering friendship and independence. With a consistent Monday-Friday schedule packed with exciting activities, from LEGO building to circus-themed fun, it promises a summer of joy, discovery, and lasting memories.

SPRING BREAK CAMP
Spring Break Camp gives kids the best Spring Break ever! FWCC provides youth opportunities to be active and have more fun outdoors while school is out! Camp dates are determined by the FWPS Spring Break Calendar each year. Spring Break Camp runs April 6 through April 10, 2026.

WINTER BREAK CAMP
Give your children the chance to explore new activities and make holiday memories! FWCC provides a winter camp that allows campers to swim, rock climb, and so much more during the FWPS holiday break.
NOTICE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
At camp, we’re prepared for all types of weather to ensure a fun, safe, and engaging experience for campers, rain or shine!
- Outdoor Activities: On dry days, we will utilize the grassy areas around the Community Center and Celebration Park for outdoor play.
- Power Outages: In the event of a power outage, the Federal Way Community Center’s generator will keep camp running as usual.
- Severe Weather (Snow, Storms, etc.):
- We closely monitor the forecast and road conditions in collaboration with Public Works.
- If camp needs to be delayed or canceled due to severe weather, families will be notified via email by 6:00 AM.
- The camp cell phone voicemail (206-255-8706) will also be updated with a recorded message. If no email or voicemail update is received, camp will proceed as scheduled.
- If camp is canceled, families will receive a refund for the missed day.
- Early Closure: If weather conditions require camp to close early, we will contact families for prompt pickup.
