DAY CAMPS AT FWCC
At Federal Way Community Center, our goal is to provide a safe, fun and enriching day camp program for school aged youth! . Through active participation in the Federal Way Camp Program, our staff fosters an environment for positive behaviors and habits for social physical and emotional wellbeing. To make these goals a reality, the City of Federal Way employs qualified, compassionate staff members who have a fondness for children and will be a positive influence in their lives.

DAY CAMPS
The Federal Way Community Center offers many exciting and fun day camp programs to make your child smile! Let your child new adventures, create new friendships, swim, rock climb, and so much more. All camps are on a first come, first serve basis and require registration. Our Day Camps follow the FWPS Calendar.
K – 8TH SUMMER CAMP
Summer Camp is for grades K – 8th. Every day of summer camp gives youth the opportunity to make friends and challenge themselves through new experiences! Summer Camp registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
FIREFLIES PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMP
Fireflies is for kids 3–5 years old.
It runs Monday through Friday from 9am–12pm! Fireflies provides kids an opportunity to make friends, learn new skills, discover independence and expand their social skills!
CHAMPS CAMP
Champs Camp is a camp for children living with intellectual and developmental disabilities in grades K – 8th. Children are integrated into our mainstream camp and are helped by extra support staff. Please reach out to Inclusion Coordinator, Kevin Hutchinson.
NO SCHOOL DAYS CAMP
There is no better way to spend a FWPS No School Day than at the Federal Way Community Center. Camp opens at 7am and closes at 6pm. FWCC follows the Federal Way Public School Calendar.
SPRING BREAK CAMP
Spring Break Camp gives kids teh best Spring Break ever! FWCC provides youth opportunities to be active and have more fun outdoors while school is out! Camp date is determined by FWPS Calendar.
HOLIDAY CAMP
Give your children the chance to explore new activities and make holiday memories! FWCC provides a holiday camp that allows campers to swim, rock climb, and so much more during the FWPS holiday break.
SPECIALITY CAMPS - STEM, THEATRE, DANCE, AND MORE
In addition to our standard Day Camps, we also offer specialized camps tailored to your child’s interests. Your child will be immersed in their passions with our camps which include interests such as sports, arts, theatre, STEM, and much more! All camps are on a first come, first serve basis and require registration. Our Special Interest Camps follow the FWPS Calendar.
ARTS CAMP
No artistic talent needed! Simple step by step instructions and a little imagination will help your child stretch their creative muscles and keep their brain active. Two masterpieces created each day of camp!
TEEN THEATRE CAMP
If your child enjoys the limelight then this is the camp for them. Your budding actor will learn theatre terminology, acting technique, vocal exercises and dance steps that will prepare them for an amazing performance. Your child will experience daily classes and rehearsals in a fun and rewarding environment that will have them feeling like a star.
YOUTH THEATRE CAMP
If your child enjoys the limelight then this is the camp for them. Your budding actor will learn theatre terminology, acting technique, vocal exercises and dance steps that will prepare them for an amazing performance. Your child will experience daily classes and rehearsals in a fun and rewarding environment that will have them feeling like a star.
SYLVAN LEARNING STEM CAMPS
With STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) well-emphasized in school and the world, we are proud to partner with Sylvan Learning of Federal Way to offer educational yet fun camps to your children. There is a variety of engineering, coding and robotics camps to choose from!
SNAPOLOGY STEM CAMPS
Snapology is the premier partner for STEAM programs (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math), offering year-round programs in schools, community facilities, homes and in our Discovery Centers (select locations only). Kids have so much fun in our classes and camp activities that they don’t even realize they’re learning STEM / STEAM concepts.
SKYHAWK SPORT CAMPS
Skyhawks provides sports programs where children discover and develop athletic skills and social values, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. We offer children a positive sports experience while promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. At Saghalie Park. This is a partnership with FWCC /Skyhawk Sports and requires SEPERATE REGISTRATION HERE.
